Mortgage Administrator

Job Description

PRIMIS Mortgage Network is currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Mortgage Administrator to join a well-established partner firm within our Mortgage Advisory division. This firm operates as a highly active mortgage and protection business from their Glasgow G2 offices.

In this role, the administrator will play a vital part in supporting our busy advisors, primarily focusing on mortgage and protection cases. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of professionalism and should be adept at engaging with clients, lenders, and service providers.

We are particularly interested in candidates with at least 2 years of experience in mortgage administration within a Mortgage Brokerage environment. However, we are also open to applicants who have administrative experience in the broader financial services or estate agency sectors, even if not directly in mortgage broking. Experience with Equity Release cases would be a valuable asset.

The role offers a competitive base salary in the range of £25,000 to £30,000, with flexibility depending on the candidate’s experience.

Initially, this position is office-based, but there is potential for a hybrid working arrangement over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regular communication with lenders and providers to track the progress of applications.
• Proactively managing mortgage and protection applications through to successful completion.
• Handling incoming communications, including calls, emails, and postal correspondence.
• Entering and updating data for mortgage and protection applications.

Skills & Experience Desired:

• Ideally, 2+ years of experience in mortgage administration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident telephone manner with exceptional customer service skills.
• A team-oriented individual who can also work independently and take initiative.
