Job Description

Sense College Dereham is on the lookout for a dependable and professional individual to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will excel in time management, work independently, and efficiently manage stock levels. This role offers flexibility with 2 hours of work per day, scheduled around the college’s operating hours as agreed with the manager. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness throughout Sense College.
  • Maintain a hygienic environment through tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, polishing, emptying bins, and disinfecting toilets and sinks.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate levels of cleaning supplies, including refilling dispensers and notifying the relevant personnel when reordering is needed.
  • Clean internal windows, skirting boards, windowsills, guide rails, and other surfaces as required.
  • Uphold safety standards at all times within the premises.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
  • Properly store all materials in their designated areas.
  • Report any damaged equipment or maintenance issues to the appropriate person.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the premises are consistently maintained.
  • Perform any additional duties that align with the responsibilities of the role.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to follow and work within a daily schedule.
  • Competence in carrying out cleaning tasks to a high standard.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to take and follow instructions.
  • A positive attitude towards working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Flexibility in work hours and duties.
