Job Title: Business Development Executive – Upwork
Job Summary: As a Business Development Executive for Upwork, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying, securing, and nurturing client relationships on the Upwork platform. This position demands a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the Upwork ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of successful business development and a passion for helping businesses achieve their objectives through freelance talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities on Upwork, focusing on clients who need freelance services that align with our offerings.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to meet sales targets and expand our client base.
- Create personalized and persuasive proposals to bid on relevant projects and secure contracts.
- Manage and enhance Upwork profiles to effectively showcase our capabilities and attract potential clients.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure favorable contracts and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project transitions and deliver high-quality services to clients.
- Track and analyze business development metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform changes, and competitor activities to refine business development strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in bidding on Upwork, with strong English language skills.
- Proven experience with Upwork or similar freelancing platforms, demonstrating a solid understanding of marketplace dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling proposals and negotiating effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and clients concurrently.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities, proactively identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, web development, graphic design, or other relevant fields is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from 80,000 to 250,000 PKR, depending on experience.
- Target earnings between 8,000 to 12,000 USD.

- Work hours: 7 PM to 3 AM
