Position Overview

We are currently hiring for a role focused on serving our retail customers. This position involves taking and processing orders, addressing customer inquiries and quality concerns, and coordinating with various departments such as production, sales, purchasing, and shipping to meet customer needs. You will also handle administrative tasks like processing invoices, creating delivery logs, and assisting with customer service-related issues. This role is central to maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service and finding solutions for our customers.

  • Contract Duration: 18-month contract with potential for permanent placement
  • Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, including holidays as needed, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Salary Range: $20-22/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls and emails, handling customer inquiries effectively
  • Processing customer orders and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Performing administrative duties such as emailing weekly price lists, running reports, and organizing external carriers
  • Creating delivery logs and assisting with routing deliveries to customers
  • Resolving customer complaints and supporting the sales team
  • Providing administrative support to the customer care team, including covering duties on statutory holidays

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand and accurately reflect customer needs
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including Google Docs, Sheets, MS Excel, and MS Word
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, along with flexibility and initiative
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset
