Role Overview:
As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the store team and driving the company’s vision and values. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll be instrumental in boosting store profitability by meeting sales targets, ensuring high store standards, and managing various aspects of store operations. You’ll also step in to manage the store in the Store Manager’s absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive store sales and meet sales goals, tracking progress against targets
  • Model and promote a customer-focused approach, demonstrating effective selling behaviors for the team to follow
  • Support the Store Manager in recruiting, networking, and interviewing top talent
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to associates, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Communicate clearly and train the team on customer engagement, store policies, and procedures
  • Assist in managing store expenses to enhance profitability
  • Foster a productive environment by equipping the team with the skills needed to achieve sales and customer engagement goals

Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of relevant experience in retail management
  • Proven ability to drive business results through effective team leadership
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Strong coaching and motivational skills to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solution-oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Formal education is a plus but experience and achievements are prioritized
